The Steamy sauna heater offers you several ways to take your sauna. Enjoy higher temperatures
and low humidity, or experience the worldwide health trend, with lower temperatures and
higher humidity.
The brand name Polar is "The Mercedes-Benz of Sauna Heaters."
Polar heaters are built with triple wall contruction for low surface temperatures.
It's design is sleek and modern. This is a top-of-the-line sauna that will definitely
blend into the most refined homes.
You can use 8 gauge wire and a 40 amp breaker for the 8 KW steamy heater. When the 2 kw built in steam
generator is on, one of the dry heater elements will turn off so that the total amperage draw will not go over 40 amps
(actually closer to 35).

This heater really is twice as good as a regular sauna heater.
For starters, it has just about everything you could want in
a traditional sauna heater: a solid design, triple-wall construction,
and a large rock capacity which holds the rocks in direct contact with
the elements. The latter point makes for more comfortable heat than
if the elements were heating the air directly. The only thing "missing"
is a stainless steel exterior shrowd, which really has nothing to
do with the heater's functionality anyway.
Add to that a 2 kw steam generator that will convert your dry
sauna into a steambath and you immediately double the health benefits!
Breathing in steam improves most respiratory problems and
brings more oxygen to
all of the cells of your
body due to increased blood flow to the capillaries in the bronchioles.
Overall, this is my second-favorite of all sauna heaters.
But if I didn't have a separate steam bath, I think this one
would get the award.
