The sauna built from the material in this sauna kit can be either a residential or commercial sauna. This is a sauna package that offers the highest grade of sauna material available. This sauna kit material is assembled and packaged by the largest Sauna manufacturer in the United States. This sauna kit includes only vertical grain, select grade, clear western red tongue and groove cedar boards, an industry first. A classification of select grade is the highest grade of clear western red cedar that exists today. Select grade is even higher than grade A cedar that can be found in other saunas. Our sauna kits have only select grade, vertical grain clear western red cedar. Using only vertical grain clear western red cedar means that your sauna will be built from the very highest standard of cedar which can be found in only 15% of clear western red cedar available. This insures that your sauna will be made from the finest material available that will appear as beautiful as the first day of use through decades to come. The vertical grain, select grade, clear western red cedar is hand selected from only 8 foot boards, where all of the darkest color boards are discarded and lighter color boards are matched. The clear western red cedar provided in this sauna kit will be vertical boards that run from top to bottom, never using a bench as a break to cut material costs. Horizontal tongue and groove cedar installation is also available at exactly the same price even though vertical installation is usually preferred. This sauna kit includes pre-assembled sauna benches made from 2" x 4" western red cedar frames with the top of the cedar boards benches that are made of 1" x 4" clear western red cedar. The top bench has a backrest that is pre-assembled along the upper bench. The sauna doors that are offered in this sauna kit are both pre-hung. The Douglass Fir sauna door is made and installed into a Mahogany frame. The Douglass Fir sauna door matches perfectly with the cedar and includes a 15" x 64" Tempered Glass Window that is 1" thick. The Douglass Fir sauna door is 24" x 80" and has a suggested rough opening of 26" x 82". The all glass sauna door is also pre-hung and is 24" x 80" as well. The suggested rough opening for the all glass door us 27 1/2" x 74 1/4". Both the Douglass Fir as well as the all glass sauna door are designed for heavy commercial sauna use. Both doors are incredibly durable, flawlessly built and beautiful. The sauna heater options offered all have a large rock capacity, built to pour water over, for a true Finnish sauna experience. All sauna heaters offered in this sauna kit are made in Finland and are also both UL and cUL Listed for Canadian use to comply with your home owner's insurance policy. Sauna heater options that are offered include the HMR Mechanical Built-In Controls at the base of the sauna heater, the HNVR Mechanical Separate Controls which mount on the wall outside the sauna and our upgraded HNVR Digital FINO Line sauna heater with chrome digital D60 controls which mounts outside the sauna wall. The Polar sauna heater includes a 1 year warranty and the FINO sauna heater has a lifetime warranty. All outdoor saunas require the HNVR digital FINO sauna heater as the Digital D60 controls are the only controls that are durable enough to be able to withstand the outdoor elements. Everything is included in this sauna kit from the cedar louvered vents, cedar heater guardrail, Finnish sauna stones, specialized vapor proof sauna wall light, aluminum foil sauna vapor barrier to the detailed trim for the corners. The dimensions of this sauna kit are 48"D x 48"W x 84"H which are the interior dimensions therefore if you do have a smaller space this will be the correct sauna for you.
